Wood floors are incredibly durable and when well cared for, will not need repair.  Unfortunately, accidents do happen and typically water is involved. This extreme case demonstrates almost every condition that ruins wood floors: prolonged water damage, cupping and fire damage.

In most circumstances, this floor would be replaced, but the owner asked us to do our best to repair the floor.  Here’s the result prior to final sanding and refinishing.
