One of the truths about Mr. Floor is that our business is fueled by the satisfaction of and referrals from happy Chicago clients. A referral is exactly how we met Sandy Kurtz, a wonderful woman who was looking to downsize in space from her city home while upgrading to a downtown life in style and functionality.

Ms. Kurtz purchased a 1,500 square foot condo high above Lake Shore Drive in the Lakeview neighborhood. Featuring panoramic views of Belmont Harbor and the lake front, her new home had good bones, but needed updating badly. To help transform her condo from tired and old to fabulous and timeless, she chose Mr. Floor.

Originally, our work in Ms. Kurtz home was to be new hardwood flooring and a kitchen renovation only. However, after meeting with our team and learning first-hand how Mr. Floor’s services exceed expectations, she expanded the work to include the master bath, guest bath and several touch-up and upgrade projects. In the end, what was a tired condo with roots back to 1963 became an open, showcase home that features the latest amenities, extraordinary design, and universal functionality.
